Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the KineTech Health website and platform (“KineTech,” “we,” “us”), operated by Kinetech Health Technologies Inc. of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. By using our website, submitting a clinic partnership application, or booking a diagnostic appointment through KineTech, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

KineTech is a booking and referral-routing platform. We connect Alberta patients who hold a valid diagnostic referral with independent diagnostic imaging clinics that have earlier availability than the patient might otherwise find on their own.

KineTech is not a healthcare provider, clinic, laboratory, or medical practice.We do not perform, supervise, or interpret any diagnostic test. Every test you book through KineTech is performed entirely by the independent clinic you select, under that clinic's own licensing, staff, and standards of care. Any clinical questions about your test, results, or referral should go directly to your referring physician or the performing clinic.

To book through KineTech you must be at least 18 years of age (or booking on behalf of a dependant as their legal guardian), hold a valid diagnostic referral from a licensed healthcare provider, and provide accurate information about yourself and your referral. Booking on KineTech is currently free for referred patients in Alberta; we do not charge patients to use the platform.

• Provide a genuine, current referral and accurate personal and contact information.
• Attend your booked appointment, or cancel/reschedule with the clinic as far in advance as you reasonably can.
• Direct clinical questions, results, and follow-up care to your referring physician or the clinic that performed your test, not to KineTech.
• Understand that availability shown on the platform reflects what partner clinics have reported to us and can change.

Clinics that apply to and are approved as KineTech partners agree to provide accurate business information, respond to booking requests in a timely manner, and maintain applicable licensing and standards of care for the diagnostic services they offer. Partnered clinics may access a clinic dashboard to manage incoming booking requests; credentials issued for that dashboard are confidential and must not be shared outside the clinic. Commercial terms (subscription and per-booking fees) for partnered clinics are set out separately in each clinic's partnership agreement.

Listings in our public clinic directory that are not marked as “partnered” are informational only, sourced from publicly available business listing data, and do not imply any business relationship, endorsement, or booking capability through KineTech for that clinic.

Nothing on the KineTech platform constitutes medical advice. Content on this site, including diagnostic category descriptions and wait-time information, is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment.

KineTech facilitates connections between patients and independent clinics but is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any diagnostic test performed by a clinic, nor for a clinic's availability, scheduling accuracy, or conduct. To the fullest extent permitted by Alberta law, KineTech's liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to direct damages, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We may update these Terms as KineTech's services evolve. We will post any changes here and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
